This programme will practically develop your understanding of enterprise on a global scale. It will equip you with the skills and knowledge to start, develop and manage your own business and to effectively exploit business opportunities. Through our unique ‘Enterprise Project’ you will experience firsthand the challenges of enterprise development.

This unique course supports your enterprise skill development by providing you with insights into the creation of economic and social value through entrepreneurial activity. This includes the identification of new products, processes and markets to innovatively exploit opportunities. Key modules will focus on venture creation, development and management, including social and family organisations.
Delivered by internationally recognised academics and supported by a group of highly-skilled entrepreneurs, this course uses a sound theoretical and research-led approach to develop your knowledge and understanding of enterprise and entrepreneurship. Cutting edge action-based teaching techniques are employed to stimulate and enhance your own skill development, allowing you to experience the ‘real world’ challenges of enterprise, both locally and globally.
Our distinctive ‘Enterprise Project’ gives you the chance to apply your skills and critical understanding. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will undertake a strategic developmental role within an organisation.
Completion of this MSc Enterprise will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to achieve economic and social impact.

Enterprise Dissertation: An extended piece of applied research (12,000 words) drawing on your understanding of the theory and practice of entrepreneurship within the context of a ‘real world’ enterprise. Students can select an enterprise project that reflects their own interests and career ambitions.
Careers: Our MSc Enterprise is designed specifically for students who aspire to start their own business or social enterprise, develop an existing family firm or start a career in corporate venturing. Graduates from the programme will be equipped to succeed in a wide range of competitive environments and be able to draw on a number of key transferable skills to exploit global opportunities.
Entry requirements: A background in Business or Management is desirable though applicants from other disciplines will be considered.
